From the ground up construction of a $150M jail, spanning 23 acres and over 325,000 square feet. The building consisted of 20 pods designed to hold 1,242 and includes a massive kitchen that serves over 1,200 meals three times-a-day, new offices for the sheriff’s department, a separate building for evidence and training and a full-service medical unit. Scope included all electrical, lights, switchgear, datacom, TV system, fire alarm, generators, and BIM modeling. Project was completed in 23 months, on time and under budget.
