All right, we’re going to a meeting, and it’s going to be in, you know, 20 minutes. He’s like, “We’re going to talk about a few things with you,” and I was like, “Okay, I’ll try to get my mind straight.” The nerves immediately kicked on, but once we got to the meeting, it all settled down. Everybody’s really nice, and it was great to sit down and meet with, “What did you think you were going in for? Did you have any idea?”

Um, I kind of also seen some of the previous apprentices going to the meeting. They kind of came back out, and they all felt good after, but I didn’t know exactly what they talked about. I knew they kind of shortly after got to go out into the field and start working. So, I thought maybe it’d be a placement kind of interview. And, I thought, “Well, I’m ready for this, and hopefully, it goes well.”

What was the big thing you came out with? I guess would be a good question. Sure, it was just a better understanding of the structure of the company. Learned about a merit shop and it’s just talking about how you can keep evolving. The amount of time and hard work you put in is how you’re judged. You’re not judged against everyone else for doing less work or racing to the top and bringing the people around you with you.

Very good. So, what’s your assignment now then? My assignment is to find a new person for next week who can, who puts in the time, the dedication, and has the knowledge ready to come into the meeting and ready to go out and do great things.
