You’re an electrician. You’re already an established electrician. You could go work anywhere. So, why Barts Electric? I’ve been here a long time. You get comfortable, but you get to know the guys, understand how they work around you, and familiarize yourself with the office dynamics. It starts to make it nice to stay there because you like who you’re working around. You develop a lot of friends, and the guys you work with are good. It’s nice to stay there. Everybody says, “I could go here or there,” but if you don’t like one thing here, there’s going to be something over there you don’t like. So, really, in the long run, unless something drastic happened and Barts shut down or something, I mean, to me, I’d rather retire and stay with Barts until then.

You also talked about the benefits that you get. Yeah, you know, good track over time. Once you start running jobs, your pay obviously goes up. You get a vehicle when you’re running jobs, and vacation is good. Some places don’t have vacation and 401k match. So, there are a lot of good benefits to it.

So, what about your perspective, Jen? I mean, as a spouse, does it really matter which company he works for, or as long as the pay is good, does it not matter? Um, I mean, yeah, it matters to me because I want him to be able to live up to his full potential. He’s a good teacher, a good leader, and I don’t want him to be at a place that’s just like, “Go to your job and go home.” Some people might like that, but we just want—I just hate to see him live underneath where I know he can be, if that makes sense. Right. But also, especially when we were on the road, we always felt like we were taking good care of from Barts, and you know, there are other companies that may not give you some of the opportunities that we’ve had. So, those things have been good for us.
